Announcing three winners for our public list contest; the May 2013 Editor’s Pick is Pixel & Tonic’s Playa, and happy 4th birthday to us.

Announcing Three Winners of our Lists Giveaway

A few weeks ago, we introduced our newest feature, Lists. In order to encourage you to try your hand at lists, we decided to give away a Pixel & Tonic Assets license to three people who took the time to put together a public list that we found of interest. Many hundreds of lists have been created, and we looked through the ones set to "public" and decided on the following three winners:

Congratulations to all three winners. Thanks for putting together those lists; we'll be in touch with each soon about the Assets licenses.

Happy 4th Birthday to Us!

The current incarnation of devot-ee.com was launched on May 1, 2009 so we're now four years old! We wouldn't be anything if it wasn't for people like you who use the site every day, the incredible ExpressionEngine add-on developers who continue to come up with ever more amazing functionality to add to EE, and our advertisers. Here's to the next four years!

Editor's Pick, May 2013: Playa by Pixel & Tonic

Playa is still the best way to do multiple relationships in ExpressionEngine. This add-on is battle-tested and has been around since 2008! Pixel & Tonic really know their way around EE add-ons. Thanks, and congrats!

New Add-ons This Week

  • Superfish EE Control Panel by Joel Birch
Adds Superfish and hover intent to the EE Control Panel flyout menus.
  • Login Override by David DeHaan
Allows a user to be logged into an EE site via template tag.
  • Date Manipulation by Rein de Vries
This module will manipulate all dates and times in a creative way (plain text), just like the PHP function strtotime().
  • Google Plus SSO - Single Sign On ($) by 25hweb
Allows your users sign on to your site through a Google account. If the user accesses for the first time to your site, it will be automatically registered, thus becoming a native ExpressionEngine user (you can choose which group to register users).
