Zenbu was chosen in September 2012.
Zenbu is a powerful and customizable entry list manager and replacement to EE's "Edit Channel Entries" section which enables you to see more entry data, such as categories, last author, data stored in custom fields, and much more. Zenbu also has many entry searching and filtering options.

See all your entry data in the Control Panel
Zenbu is a powerful and customizable entry list manager similar to ExpressionEngine's Edit Channel Entries section in the control panel. Accessible from Content => Edit, Zenbu enables you to see, all on the same page, the Entry ID, Title, URL Title, Categories, Author, Status, Date, Channel, Live Look, Comment count, Sticky, Edit and/or expiration dates, View counters (EE docs), Last author, Custom fields, ... and more!

The combination of Zenbu and Henshu is incredible powerful yet so simple to use. I sent a support request (something that was totally our fault) and got a pleasant, detailed reply within 10 minutes. I can’t imagine building a content heavy site without this combo anymore.

Excellent add-on which I have now combined with Hokoku to make exporting to csv or html an absolute breeze. Great support from Nicolas and the bundle is even better value !

If you need fine-grained control over the edit pages in the CP then this is the ticket. Nicolas is also a very responsive developer that continues to refine this gem of an add-on.

Holy smokes. This is probably the most useful plugin I’ve ever purchased. My clients are finally no longer complaining about the organization of the entries page. My only gripe is I wish the titles were consistent with EEs but I’ll complain in the forum instead of docking a star :) Great job!

I love that Zenbu replaces outright the default Edit page and adds a Edit dropdown list back into the main menu bar. It’s ideal for multi-channel sites with a lot of different information. Clients can see the entry data you want them to and easily edit in mass. It’s moved into my must-install list.

Zenbu allows me to sort and filter the edit screens in ways that were impossible in EE1.
The ability to see custom fields on the edit screen is great for CartThrob-based stores where orders and purchased items can be stored in different channels, making it easy to cross-reference.

There are still a lot of bugs in version 1.0. It’s far from production ready.
Aside that it’s a great add-on which will be a great addition to your CP as soon as the bugs are fixed.
