Twit-ee fetches data from the Twitter API and allows you to display it in your ExpressionEngine templates. A variety of tags are available allowing you to show your own tweets, your friends tweets and more.
Leevi Graham has “forked this module”:http://github.com/leevigraham/twit-ee.ee_addon/tree/master to include relative dates.

This module no longer works and the developer is not going to fix. His reply:

Twitter’s move to OAuth is the reason this add-on is now longer working (...) The source to Twit-ee is freely available so if you would like to fork the project and update it to support OAuth please free to do so!

Unfortunately it has stopped working with the latest security changes at Twitter.com(September 2010)
