Threaded Comment add-on for ExpressionEngine 3 and 4 enables nested comments on top of native Comment module and also provides custom comment fields.

This add-on is for ExpressionEngine 3.1.0 or later (supports EE4, 5, 6). If you are looking for EE2 version, find it here.

The users can reply to comment with a comment. The nestedness depth is virtually unlimited.

You can define custom comment fields in control panel and have those fieds submitted (and displayed) with the comments.

The commenters can subsribe to receive email notifications about new comments only in selected thread.

Working on top of EE Comment module, so fully compatible with it, having all same variables with few extra added.

Very easy to set up: building the thread is as simple as adding {if thread_start} conditional to comment tag, and the comment form changes are next to none.

The add-on is complete re-write of EE2 Threaded Comments module, which can be found here. Custom Comment Fields for EE2 is available here.

NB custom sorting parameters are currently not supported.

Very efficient and simple to set-up. Very nice, because it complete the native EE3 Comment module, so no difficulties to implement !!
