If the add-on is an extension, and ties into ExpressionEngine's core files, it will use ExpressionEngine hooks. We are listing any hooks the add-on uses for developers to have an easier time locating other add-ons that they can reference for their own work.

The latest 2.0.2 version restores compatibility with EE2.1.3
Really nice little editor, makes textile a bit easier to use for clients.
I have EE 2.1.3 and I can’t get the buttons to show either.
This add is great for clients, and have used it on previous projects. However it seems to be having issues with the latest EE 2.1.3, no buttons displaying. Anyone had this issue?

Standard for me too. Personally I never actually use the buttons, just use the menu as a quick visual aid to signify that the field is a Textile one.
Standard with all installs for me. This extension is easy to use for both clients and the developer.
