Hi there,
I am currently using ex-presso store and have mapped it to the zoo visitor fields. When i complete an order, the user details are correctly updating the zoo visitor fields, however it is not saving it to the native member fields also.
Is this supposed to happen? If not, can u please provide some guidance on how to make this happen?
Coz i know that if i update the zoo visitor channel fields, they automatically update the corresponding native member fields. I just need this to happen also when i complete an order
thanks

Hi,
This functionality is only triggered when saving memberdata through the regular visitor tag form. I think Store injects the data directly in the member data fields

Hi there,
Does this mean that Zoo Visitor and Expresso Store are not compatible?
If we write the new member data to ZV during checkout won’t Store then try to create the same record in the members module?
I hope you can help.
Cheers,
Sean

I think it’s possible to place an order in Store for the current logged in member. So if you set up your checkout process and include a login/register step then it will integrate perfectly. Visitor will create your member and Store will take that data. You could also pass the required member data into store in hidden member fields

Thanks for the quick reply. Our situation is:
- New visitor browses and selects product (training)
- Goes to checkout process (Store); this is where we need to create a member as well as ensuring that the purchase and logins are all attached to that member.
We have set up the cross references between store fields and ZV channel fields however the ZV record is not created.
It’d be great if someone who has successfully integrated Expresso Store and Zoo Visitor could outline the process.
Many Thanks,
Sean

* New visitor browses and selects product (training)
* Checkout: Login OR New member
- New member: Visitor registration form, set return page to final checkout page with an overview of the order. At this stage the member data is stored and user is being logged in.
OR
- Login -> Visitor update form (allowing the user to see his details and edit them), set return page to final checkout page with an overview of the order
* Checkout confirmation page: in this page you can list the purchases and place the Visitor member data in Store fields by using hidden billing details fields
<input type="text" name="billing_name" value="{{visitor:global:visitor_name_field}" />
Hope this helps,
Nico
