now THAT is a title ;)
I have a problem that when I register a member during the checkout process via store, it’s only creating a standard member, but not a zoo visitor channel entry!
I got the zoo registration part working. no problem.
I got store working.
it’s just that it doesn’t create this entry.
I already had contact with store
Here’s my first email to them:
====================================
Hi,
I try to register a member while checking out.
it works somehow, but not in conjunction with Zoo visitor. (the user get’s created, but not in zoo visitor.)
this is the code in my checkout template:
{exp:store:checkout next="warenkorb/schritt-4" error_handling="inline" error_delimiters='<div class="ui red pointing prompt label transition">|</div>' require="name|address1|city|postcode" id="edit_form"}
[…]
{if logged_out} <div class="ui segment"> <div class="ui checkbox"> <input type="hidden" name="register_member" value="0" /> <input type="checkbox" id="register_member" name="register_member" value="1" /> <label for="register_member">Möchten Sie ein Kundenkonto?</label> </div>
<div class="toggle"> <div class="ui form fluid"> <div class="field{if error:password} error{/if}"> <label for="password">Passwort</label> <div class="ui left labeled icon input"> <input type="password" placeholder="Passwort" id="password" maxlength="256" value="" name="password" required /> <i class="lock icon"></i> <div class="ui corner label"><i class="asterisk icon"></i></div> </div> </div>
<div class="field{if error:password_confirm} error{/if}"> <label for="password_confirm">Passwort bestätigen</label> <div class="ui left labeled icon input"> <input type="password" placeholder="Passwort bestätigen" id="password_confirm" maxlength="256" value="" name="password_confirm" required /> <i class="lock icon"></i> <div class="ui corner label"><i class="asterisk icon"></i></div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> {/if}
[…]
{/exp:store:checkout}
The user get’s created, the email is sent BUT it’s only created as a standard member, NOT as a Zoo Visitor member!
Registering via Zoo Visitor works like a charm:
{exp:zoo_visitor:registration_form return="login/registrieren/registration-abgeschlossen" error_handling="inline" error_delimiters='<div class="ui red pointing prompt label transition">|</div>' allowed_groups="5" include_jquery="no" include_assets="no" id="edit_form" }
…
{/exp:zoo_visitor:registration_form}
I am on EXPRESSIONENGINE 2.9
Zoo Visitor 1.3.32
Store 2.4.1
====================================
that’s the answer of Brad:
Hmm, I would have to do some research. This is probably more of a Zoo Visitor issue, since it matters where and how they are hooking into the process. Have you asked them about this? I am happy to provide them with a demo copy if needed.
Honestly that it outside the scope of our support. If the members are not being made in EE, I can support that. However, if Zoo Visitor isn’t doing its part with that, you need to contact Zoo Visitor. I apologize, but I have to keep pretty tight on what we can and can’t support.

I am happy to provide you with more details if you need!
cheers
