I have a Wyvern field and when I try to insert an image the editor will not allow it to be placed where I am inserting it. No matter what, it always places it outside (above) the current set of tags. Is this expected? Is this a ck thing or a wyvern thing?

This isn’t a CKeditor thing. Could you update to 1.3.3 and try that out? There was a bug related to this and it should be fixed in 1.3.3

OK,
I downloaded and installed it. Seems to be better now. I looked in the control panel though, and WYVERN version still says 1.3.2. Did my update fail someplace or did the build not update the version? Also, I installed the channel files plugin and enabled it but nothing will show up in the toolbar. Not sure why. I posted this on the Devdemon site as well, but it’s hard for me to tell who’s issue it really is. I’m using Channel Files 5.

The module may require you to do a manual update by clicking the button in the upper right of the modules page. 1.3.3 doesn’t contain any module specific updates, so that version # isn’t a huge deal.
I didn’t add any Channel Files support just Channel Images. If DevDemon added Files support then it may be their issue. I don’t have a copy of ChannelFiles to see if a CKeditor plugin is part of it or not to test though.

Update - I think I have it working… Hi Brian,
I am having this (or a very similar) issue. I was on 1.3.1 and tried updating to 1.3.3. When I place an image on the page inside of some text it will jump outside of that tag. In the editor source it does not show that it is forced into an empty tag but when viewed in a browser I see it wrapped in a tag (outside of the original para I wanted it placed within. Thoughts?
