Is there any way to change the text direction on a WB Markitup field? I’m working on setting up an Arabic version of a site and I haven’t found a way to change it to rtl.

Hmm, there isn’t a way at the moment, but I don’t think it’d be that hard to add. How soon would you need it?

I’d need it pretty soon. If you don’t have time to add it, I can see if I can figure it out.

Hey, Wes. I haven’t taken a look at it yet. The project was handed off to another developer, but I don’t think he’s had a chance to look at it yet either. If you can get it ready by Wednesday, that would be awesome. Don’t feel like you have to, though.

I went ahead and added both the ability to change the text direction and show the file chooser button. Let me know how it works for you.

Awesome, thanks! Just one little issue - it doesn’t look like setting the text direction makes any changes to the textarea that gets displayed. We made a quick mod to it so that it gets a dir attribute applied to it.

Doh, yeah I see the problem. I’ve uploaded a version that passes the direction to the textarea. One question though, does Markitup behave like you’d expect?
