URGENT: I need this working for the client over the weekend, and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.
Everything is installed okay, but I’m finding that for any member group I create that has CP access, Video Player won’t appear in the Channel publish page.
The custom field is there in the page, but clicking the link “Add Video” doesn’t do anything. No popup, nothing. It only works (i.e. the link pops up the video player search panel) when I’m logged in as a Super Admin. Doesn’t work for any other admin login.
Can’t see what I’m doing wrong here, because the field itself is appearing. Just a dead link.

Hey Nik, I’ve created added permissions to the Member group on a fresh EE install with Video Player installed and everything worked well. I’ve been able to use a Video Player field with a Member account, and with another Super Admin account.
Do you get any javascript errors in your console ?
Could you give me an access to your control panel and ftp to try to find the source of this problem.
Cheers !

Alright, thanks for the access, I found out where it came from. It was in the Members / Member Groups Panel, when you edit a group.
Under the Control Panel Access tab, you have to allow :
- Add-Ons Section
- Add-Ons Modules
- Add-Ons Plugins
Under Module Access Privileges, allow :
- Video Player
And it should be good !

Thanks for that! ...Seems to be working now.
However, it looks like;
- Add-Ons: Section
- Add-Ons: Modules
- Add-Ons: Extensions
are activated. Is that right?

Yes, I updated your configuration when testing and didn’t put it back as it was working.

Not sure I understand… so you’re saying:
- Add-Ons: Section [allow]
- Add-Ons: Modules [allow]
- Add-Ons: Extensions [allow]
- Add-Ons: plugins [disallow]
...is the correct configuration?

This is the right configuration :
- Add-Ons: Section [allow]
- Add-Ons: Modules [allow]
- Add-Ons: plugins [allow]
