If “Populate the menu from another custom field” is selected and “Allow override on publish page?” is set to Yes in the field settings should you be able to add a custom value?

custom values are saved in db. it’s only need to combine them with populated values on output. do you need it? I could try

It is not so much that but rather when I have the settings as above the custom value is not saved to the entry.  I don’t think it is necessary to save that custom value in this case to the db.

ok, I will not rush but do it later - it would be a good addition to the addon
