Me again! I’m loving this add-on. I’m wondering how difficult it would be to add two features:
1. The ability to add a class to the <ul> so that it can be styled. (Can do through JavaScript, but it’d be great if it was native)
2. The ability for the add-on to loop through both h2 and h3 to make a nested ToC
Thanks for considering it!

Glad to hear it!
1. The ability to add a class to the <ul> so that it can be styled. (Can do through JavaScript, but it’d be great if it was native)
2. The ability for the add-on to loop through both h2 and h3 to make a nested ToC
I’m thinking of the following:
* Adding a default class to the UL, so that it can be styled
* Parameterizing the heading tag that gets grabbed, so it doesn’t have to be H3
Providing nested ToC based on multiple heading levels will be a bit more work. This is definitely worthwhile. I’m going to get this in queue, but it might constitute a “pro” version.
Thanks for the feedback!

For the ul class, a default class would be awesome. Being able to add specific classes would be wonderful, though. On the website where I use this, we use Bootstrap and it’d be great to be able to add those classes instead of having to style the default class in the CSS. But that’s just me being lazy. ;-)
And I would definitely pay for a pro version!

I just posted an update for the basics: Specify your own heading tags, and with a default class of `ul-toc` on the UL wrapper.

If you email me via clearbold.com, I’ve put together a pro version that allows nested output for the table of contents, any number of levels desired, simplifies the article tag, etc. I’d like to put it on Devot:ee with a price tag, but would love your help in testing it and providing any feedback.
