Hi,

We are testing seo with entries.
When we write a new word in SEO entry tab in fields (title, keywords, descriptions) the new SEO is showing.
But when we want to delete them or one of them, to show old SEO, we cannot remove them.
After the deleting the words and saving entry the words are still there.

In the second last version 1.1.0. we could delete those words and return to show SEO before the changes.
We would be appreciated if you can check it for us.

We are unable to reproduce this with a bare bones install. A couple questions:

Have you checked to ensure that caching is not in use?
Are there any other addons in use that may be interacting?
If you downgrade to 1.1.0, do you still see the same behavior or is it fixed?

OK i cheked again. with deleting cache…

I can delete   meta and description..

I can change Title too..

but ONLY TITLE need to have at least 1 char…
CANT delete all content..

Looking closer at the issue we discovered that if you remove all text from all fields in an entry’s SurgeEO tab, the addon thinks that nothing has changed and quits before commiting it to the database. We’ve just released 1.2.1 which fixes this issue. Give it a go and see if it solves your problem.

We download the last version 1.2.1 and still have a few problems with entry pages.

1. When we write only a new Title in SurgeEO entry Title tab, in source we only see a new Title and other meta tags are empty.
It seems like parameter fallback is not working for keywords and description in that case.

When we delete that new Title in SurgeEO entry title tab, on the front page the entry Title is not showing, and in source all meta tags are empty.

Please can you check what the problem is and give us advice on how to solve the problem.

The fallback logic that was added was a bit leaky. We’ve refactored those methods to follow a much clearer path for fallbacks. Go ahead and download 1.2.2, the problem should be fixed.
