Hi,

should the seo tab show up automaticaly after install in my channel entries? I am not seeing it and cant find an option for it. EE 2.5.5 http://cl.ly/image/2d3f1f3J380z

installed surgeo twice to make sure.

It should indeed just appear.

Are you able to check the database and make sure it’s enabled?

Do you have any publish layouts enabled? That could potentially play a part in hiding the tab.

for testing i just installed it on a EE2.5.2 projects. it’s very odd, some channels it shows up, some it does not. I dont think there is anything unusual for the publish layouts. they are all pretty much like this: http://cl.ly/image/2K1Z053m0N0R

Interesting - Some channels not having it might be a clue, that does sound like a publish-layout “issue”.

It might be worth trying to “reset” the layout in the channels where the tab does not appear.

Are you using a custom theme in the admin area?

getting a little closer. on some channels ‘resetting the layout’ helps. (although there really werent any custom layouts to begin with..) but for this one for example it doesnt help. but interestingly enough, here are the three fields for surgeo: http://cl.ly/image/353Q0z2I1M08 they dont have that eye icon. and i have no tab.

I did have anti pink acc but uninstalled it to make sure this doesnt conflict

ok, reseting actually fixed it now. i tried again, and i seem to have it now where I need it :) weird
