Hi Glenn, any chance of making :slug to treat accented characters like any other? When using {exp:stringy:slug separator=” ” case=“unchanged”}{screen_name}’}{/exp:stringy:slug}’} and {screen name} happens to be ValĂ©rie, I get Val rie.

The character you mention is not a valid URL character (as defined by RFC 3986), and the slug function is for URLs…
Perhaps you need to use a different function, like replace?
