Hi all,

How do I set the sitemap up for different urls that use he same channel, eg:

http://www.domain.com/index.php/site_url

http://www.domain.com/index.php/shop/site_url

Is there a way? I can only enter one URL field per Channel

Hi -

I’d like to know this also. We have a channel where most posts are made but each one is assigned to display under different template groups via Playa fields. So, Article 1 from channel “article” could be displayed at mysite.com/another_channel/article_1 via the Playa field in the “another_channel” channel. Can this be dealt with…? It looks like it’s one URL/channel in the screenshots.

it is only possible to enter a single url for each channel. this works for the majority of site setups where the url structure would for example be:
http://www.domain.com/article/url_title

@simon: there is no way to assign multiple urls to a channel, however if you add the url to the page with the main content of the channel entries then search engines should discover the others assuming they are linked to.

@mike: your site setup seems quite unique and i’m not sure if the sitemap module will suit your needs. if you want to give it a go then you can always get a refund within 30 days if it turns out to not work. see my comments above to help clarify if it is suitable.
