Hello - I’m running into an issue using Sitemap to generate an XML sitemap for my site’s URLs. I’m using the following code:
https://www.mysite.com/{cat_url_title}/{url_title}/
This works fine, however, some of my entries are generating missing segments like this:
https://www.mysite.com//name-of-my-page/
–
When I go to the entry that has an error, I see that the category is applied correctly - if I open the entry and simply hit save, it fixes the problem.
I did do a bulk edit to add all of these categories - could that have something to do with it? Is there something that can be done rather than having to go through these one-by-one and hitting save - like some sort of sync?
Thanks for the help.

Hmm, I wonder if the other entries that you bulk edited are displaying the category in the URL correctly when accessed directly, can you check? The add-on will use the category that it finds for the entry in the database so I don’t see any reason that it would need syncing.

Not sure - there were about 90 out of 300 that weren’t displaying correctly. I went through and manually updated them - opened the entry and hit save (didn’t edit anything). The only thing I could think of was that I had bulk applied the categories - I’m not sure if that had anything to do with it or not.

It might be worthwhile seeing if bulk editing is correctly updating the entry’s URL in EE and reporting it as a bug if not. At least that’s where I’d suggest starting if it happens again.
