Is there a way to exclude single entires from being included in the sitemap?

Not if they are in a channel that is included in the sitemap, no.

Do you think you could put an option under the sitemap tab within an entry to exclude?

Would be very helpful.

We can consider this as a feature request, sure!!

Please do as it is close to being a deal breaker for me.

Considering the price of the add-on I am surprised it is not already there.

Would be nice to have the following for individual entries:
- Exclude Entry from sitemap
- Change priority of Entry

How likely is it that you will include this in a future release?

We’ll consider adding the possibility of excluding individual entries. Changing the priority of individual entries seems like overkill but we’ll take at look at what is involved in adding it too, although it’s less likely that it’ll make it in to a near future release.

The excluding will definitely be the most beneficial.

Imagine this scenario.

You have a single channel handling all be pages on a simple site.

One of which is your home page.

Now the home page has a URL title “home” but of course we only want it accessed at the root example.com not example.com/home

Now currently in your module we can declare our location which takes care of example.com
But the issue is the sitemap also still generates example.com/home

Hence why even at a basic level I’m looking to exclude an entry let alone on more involved sites where I have content in channels I don’t want google to know about.
