On our XML sitemap we have to manually add some additional entries, because of this we need the sitemap module to not output the closing urlset tag so we can continue to add addtional urls and then manually add the closing urlset tag when we are finished.

We added this feature, but thought others might find this handy. It probably makes more sense if the options just disables outputting the opening and closing urlset tags not just the closing.

Something like {exp:sitemap:get disable_urlset_tags=“yes”}. I don’t know, whatever makes sense to you.
