Hey guys,
I’m hoping you can help. I’ve got a set up where I have a single channel per member group (3) which is then restricted to a single entry:
Member Group 1 - can only post in Channel MG-One
Member Group 2 - can only post in Channel MG-Two
Member Group 3 - can only post in Channel MG-Three
Each author is only allowed to post a single entry in the Channel (they can edit that entry as many times as they want). I’ve installed Single Entry, assigned my 3 Channels to it and chosen a Menu Group Label. It works fine when using the newly made Menu Group, but it’s still allowing the Author to add another entry via the Publish button in the drop down.
Is there any way of hiding or overriding the Publish link if we are using a single channel?
Cheers
Steve

Which publish drop down are you referring to? The main navigation?

Are you seeing the single entry group in your menu? Sounds like there might be an issue with an extension not playing nicely.

Hey guys,
Yes, the new single entry group appears at the top. I’ve attached a screenshot.

Sorry, not seeing the problem. It doesn’t look like there are any Channel submenus under publish.

Correct, there are no Channel sub menus under the Publish tab.
But if you click the Publish tab, it will open a new entry window and allow the user to add in another entry/entries, bypassing the “Single Entry”
Let me know if you want access to see what I mean

Unfortunately there isn’t much we can do about that.
