I have purchased, installed, and entered license key for short code-1.07. My EE version is 2.6.0.
I do not see an icon to insert a macro / shortcode on rich text fields. Should this be visible?
Questions: can I pass an id into a macro? I have a macro that will execute a block of template code and need to pass in an id for it to use to get an entry. Is this possible?
Thanks,
Ryan

I also installed the Prolib module but get this error when I try to access it under Add-Ons -> Modules:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function element() in /system/expressionengine/libraries/Logger.php on line 173

What rich text field are you using? Shortcode has built in support for the Editor control available in ExpressionEngine 2.8+.
Macros do not support parameters currently, however a string storage plugin such as Stash should allow you to transport values from a template into the macro. Otherwise, a custom Shortcode plugin is probably the easiest way to accomplish this. This is documented in the user guide for Shortcode, here.
The ProLib module does not need to be accessed, and it’s main page doesn’t work properly without additional tools installed. In fact, ProLib doesn’t need to be “installed” since it is not really a module but rather a code package for ProForm to use.
