hi iain,

I have some questions about the theme, and how it’s managed.

1) can I change the location of the theme files?
I would like to have the files in the template folder, where I have all the rest…

2) I have a sidebar as main navigation. is it possible to include a sidebar, and where would I best place it?
OMG - there’s so many files… where are the basic layout files hidden?
you would help me a lot pointing me to the main files…

Hi Stefan

1) Sorry, you can’t - it’s the way they are unfortunately. You’ll need to raise a feature request with EL.

2) There are no ‘basic layout files’ I’m afraid. The layout comes from quite a few individual files. A tip to find what you are looking for is to simply inspect the front end and look for the closest id element, then do a search in the theme folder for that id.

I deliberately placed as many unique IDs throughout the code for this purpose.

If I could have reduced the number of files, I would have.
