Does it have to restrict the whole site?

Is it possible to apply the IP Address restriction to a template group or channel, so it only restricts a specific area of the website?

Hi Sam

At the moment the add-on protects the whole site only.  I’ve have a solution to protect a template group but not released as most developers I spoke to use 1-2 template groups.  People asking for template protection is very rare.

I’ve been looking for a strategy that will combine an intranet/extranet with an existing hospital website. The intranet would repurpose some public content, but contain private content. If I could protect an intranet template group via Restrictee, while leaving the rest of the site public, it would be a great solution.

If you’ve got a version of your plugin that accomplishes that, I’d love to look at it.

Hi,

I’m wondering if there’s any simple way to make this only block the admin pages of the site? The site is public, but we want to lock down the CMS access as much as we can.

Is this possible?
