Image upload not working

I have used the image upload field for the first time, which seemed to work fine locally, but pushing it to our development server has resulted in us not being able to upload new images into the file manager. I can add images that have already been uploaded, but when I click ‘Upload file’, nothing happens!

hmm, that seems really odd. Basically once the file manager is initiated/opened, Nolan doesn’t do anything from there, it’s the native file manager and upload process.
What version of EE, and are there any javascript errors in your console?

The version is v2.9.0 and the only console error that is coming up on that page is ‘Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘charAt’ of undefined ‘, not sure if this is related to this issue or not..?
