There isn’t much documentation, but I assume if I have a url like:

site.com/section/profile/member_id

And state:

 {segment_3_group_id} 

I would get the group id of the member id? Or am I doing it incorrectly (so far it returns nothing)? I just want to check if the member_id in the url is in the right group_id.

I found a problem which prevented the extension from matching properly against member_ids. This has been fixed and the new build should be available in your Devot:ee member account’s download page.
