Is there a way for Low Search to include category pages in the search results if they are built dynamically by category segments, not channel entry?

For example, our site has a main products page (/products). Then, {segment_2} is used to send the user to a page with detailed listings of that category (/products/{category_url_title}). This category page includes a list of products assigned to the category, along with the category’s title, description, and image.

The client is requesting that these category pages show in the site search results if the user types in the category name. We were hoping your addon may accomplish this need.

As for your question, I’m afraid Low Search only searches entries, not categories. So no, those pages won’t appear in the search results, unless those pages also have a channel entry associated with them.
