Hi there.. im sure this is straight forward, but i dont see any setting anywhere to set an upload directory for using the slider?
I see there is the NIVO preferences fields but from what i gather they should be pointing towards the nivo_cache directory which they are.
But when i go into the channel ive created the field for and try adding an image, nothing happens.. but im not sure where i need to setup which directory to use?

Hey Brian,
Currently there is no way to limit the upload location, it will allow you to select/upload an image from any location. This is slated for a 2.0 release along with some other pretty big changes.

What version of EE are you running? Are you using the native file browser or Assets?

No worries, are you using the latest Assets (2.1.2)?

I haven’t had a chance to test any of my add-ons with 2.6 yet. About to update my dev environment and test stuff.

I have added support for Assets 2 in JW Nivo 1.3.0 (now available). Let me know if you have any issues with the update.

Awesome! Check out this short intro to theming nivo. You just have to drop your custom theme into /themes/third_party/jw_nivo/nivo-slider/ and it will show up in the theme selector in the backend :)
