How is the priority determined for each of the entries and is there a way to change/influence this? The homepage is getting a low priority and should have a higher one.
I’m using the Structure tag to output my sitemap.

Hi Perez,
Version 1.7.0 add some support for modify priority and Changefreq (http://reinos.nl/add-ons/google-sitemap-lite/docs#Params)
Because this plugin is a basic version, there is not that much to modify. Try the sitemap module (http://devot-ee.com/add-ons/sitemap-module) instead.
