Getting Started.

Hi there.

Just downloaded this to check it out, and am wondering if you could provide some code examples to get people started. I thought it would be similar to using the ce_img:single tag, but it’s not working.

This works fine:

{exp:ce_img:single src="{photo}" alt="{title}"

This doesn’t:

{exp:ez_image_resize  src="{photo}" alt="{title}"

Also wondered about using it with a wygwam field to give client more flexibility to add photos, but am not quite sure where to put the code, given that the template typically would just call the Wygwam field with something like

{content}

I feel like I’m overlooking the obvious so my apologies if that’s the case!

Thanks.

Hi mcintyre,

Here is a sample page that you can use to get started. Just change the image link to something on your site.  Let me know if this helps.

It’s live now @ http://coc.server.viminteractive.com/site/test

<h2>This is just a normal image tag</h2>

<
img src="http://coc.server.viminteractive.com/images/site/logo.png" />

<
hr />

<
h2>This is the same image with CE image applied</h2>

{exp:ce_img:single src="http://coc.server.viminteractive.com/images/site/logo.png" quality="50" width="160"}

<hr />

<
h2>This is multiples images (really the same in this instancewith ez_image_resize</h2>

{exp:ez_image_resize max_width="100" filter="opacity,30"}

<img src="http://coc.server.viminteractive.com/images/site/logo.png" width="50" />
<
img src="http://coc.server.viminteractive.com/images/site/logo.png" />
<
img src="http://coc.server.viminteractive.com/images/site/logo.png">
<
img src="http://coc.server.viminteractive.com/images/site/logo.png" />

<
img src="http://coc.server.viminteractive.com/images/site/logo.png" />

{/exp:ez_image_resize}

<hr />

<
h2>This would be the tag set for something like Wygwam</h2>

{exp:ez_image_resize max_width="100" filter="opacity,30"}

 {content}

{
/exp:ez_image_resize}

That did the trick! Thanks for the clarification and the quick response. I typically use CE’s single tag so just thought that would work. I’m looking forward to playing around with this some more. Thanks!

This looks like an amazing add-on!  I’ve been yearning for something like this for a long time :)

The example you posted really helps.  Looks like I just need to wrap my Wygwam field with EZ Image tags in my template and I should be good.
