Hi Ben,
Is there a way to make the headings in Expresso function more like the bold/italic/underline tools? Specifically, showing the ‘Hx’ button as selected when the cursor is inside a heading where the button toggles the heading on and off and also allowing the ‘Remove Format’ tool to remove the heading if the cursor is inside it? Right now, you can change a heading when the cursor is inside it (ie, from H1 to H2 and so on), but the only way to remove a heading so it’s back to a normal paragraph is to select the whole thing and use the Remove Format tool, which is different to the other tools so is confusing our users.
Does that make sense and is that possible?
Thanks,
Justin

Hi Justin, I totally understand and agree with your point. Unfortunately, the heading buttons are not a core feature in CKEditor (the editor that Expresso uses) and therefore don’t work the same as the bold, italic, buttons. Instead of using the heading buttons, you could add the headings you need to the format tool, see the toolbar configuration article here: https://ckeditor.com/docs/ckeditor4/latest/features/toolbar.html
