Right now I have an event that starts at 2:00pm on August 6 ends at 11:59pm on August 6. It should show up as “August 06, 2012” but it is showing as “August 06-07, 2012”. If I change the end time minus an hour to ending at 10:59 it will display correctly.
I am not sure what I am doing correctly. I have changed the daylight savings time setting a couple of times, but it hasn’t had any effect.
Parameters for plugin
{exp:double_date
start=”{entry_date}”
end=”{expiration_date}”
split_dates=“no”
show_day=“no”
show_time=“no”
show_year=“yes”
format_day=“j”
format_month=“F”
format_date=“d”
format_year=“Y”
format_hour=“G”
format_min=“i”
format_ampm=“A”
}
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,
Matt

Hi Matt- sounds like maybe the time on your server is off, or the server isn’t set to the correct time zone, or ExpressionEngine isn’t set to the right time zone. Give that a check. Double Date only spits out a newly formatted version of the dates it is fed- there aren’t any calculations on the dates or times. So either the server or ExpressionEngine likely has something misconfigured. It certainly could be DST settings as well, don’t forget there are DST settings for both ExpressionEngine and ExpressionEngine entries.
