EE 2.10.1
EEvent Helper 2.2.3
I have the extension setup to clone a Date field, to the Entry date. I have set times to midnight set to ‘no’: https://cloudup.com/cKb8BNLPwi4
But it seems all new entries and edited entries are always set to 12:00am.

Yup, looks like a bug when cloning the start date but not setting times to midnight. Just pushed a fix for this in version 2.2.4.

Thanks Derek, I really appreciate your quick turnaround.
This issue seems to be resolved, but now it appears that the expiration date is not being set unless I set ‘Set Expiration Date to 23:59?’ to yes. If I remember correctly the expiration date should clone the End Date field exactly with that option set to ‘no’. Is that right?

Glad to hear it. Re: expiration date: nope, that’s never been the case. The expiration date is never set at all unless that one preference is enabled.

Midnight it is then!
This is a fantastic extension. If I could make a dream feature request, it would be to allow the entry/expiration date to be offset by a custom amount. For example, set the Entry/Expiration date to the Start Date +2hr. Of course I’m not expecting this, just throwing it out there.
Thanks again!
