If I’m redirecting a URL such as /work/2014/09/11/biometxp it works fine.
If I try redirecting the url /?newsid=7819c31d-03a3-405a-be50-c54392cc0333#news however, it does not work. Any ideas?

Hey Jason -
If you go into the extension settings and change it over to PHP it should work. Let me know if that helps.

When I do that it stops redirecting altogether.

I was mistaken, it doesn’t stop altogether. Making that switch does fix some urls, but any url that has a pound sign in it (#) still does not redirect correctly.

Hey Jason -
So does it work with /?newsid=7819c31d-03a3-405a-be50-c54392cc0333 ?

It does. I’ve kinda created a work around using /?newsid=7819c31d-03a3-405a-be50-c54392cc0333% instead of /?newsid=7819c31d-03a3-405a-be50-c54392cc0333#news and that will work for some.
