Hi, I am receiving the following error, despite having my PHP memory limit set to 256M.
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 78 bytes) in /home/*********/public_html/EE/system/codeigniter/system/database/drivers/mysql/mysql_result.php on line 147
Any ideas on what I can do to correct this?
Thanks,
John

oh now I see, seems 1.9 wasn’t uploaded will do that now. We have set lower limit for query in v1.9 so there shouldn’t be this issue.

Installed 1.9 and still receiving a fatal error when I attempt to use a remote db (it’s localhost). I’m attempting to connect to the channel_entry_data table, so perhaps that’s my problem - but here’s the error:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2 bytes) in /home/********/public_html/********/system/codeigniter/system/database/drivers/mysql/mysql_result.php on line 147

Its very strange it seems your db records contain some big data. That is common problem you can solve https://www.google.com.ua/search?client=opera&q=Fatal+error:+Allowed+memory+size+of&sourceid=opera&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8

Yes the previous db is quite large. I have my memory limit set fairly high at 256M
Are there any options here to get this working?

not yet, we will add that in the new version. But this problem can be managed via php config or htaccess.

I already have my PHP limit set at 256M, which is very high - so the addon should work.
I don’t think increasing it to 512M will do much, but if you think it would help, I’ll certainly try as I do have complete control of my php.ini file.
Thanks
