Hi
Firstly, this add-on is great for the possibilities it brings which the Comment module currently lacks.
However, like most, I feel the add-on suffers severe negligence for it’s value. For example, the very basic features that the comment module offers cease to exist with this add-on:
– the ability to edit values after a comment is posted
– the ability to parse custom tags in comment notifications
Will these be implemented at some point in this add-ons life span? Do you have any intention to pursue these features?
I think these things need to be made clear in the description for this add-on so people don’t go paying for things that result in being well below par of native functionality.
Look forward to your response.

Hi Cue,
Sorry to hear you are not satisfied by the add-on. Remember that you can request your money back ff you decide to not use the extension within 30 days from date of purchase.
Unfortunately there are no plans to implement the features you request at the moment.

Custom comment fields are a great way to mark comments in your blog posts as spam. Even though Akismet may not catch it, Akismet does not mean that you should let them through. You need to check this https://australianwritings.net/ and learn more helpful tricks about education. This is because entering a comment on a blog strengthens the connection between that blog and the commenter. So if you regularly get spam comments from a specific IP address, custom fields can stop these in their tracks!
