Allow all Audit/Audit Pro variables to be outputted

Feature Request

Hi there,

I was just trying out Audit Tags but noticed that it’s missing tags for a lot of things that are visible in the control panel. Can you add variables so that everything visible in the control panel can also be outputted in a template? At the moment, you can only output audit_timestamp, audit_username, audit_screen_name and audit_email.

So it is missing other variables such as Item Type, Item ID, Item Name, IP Address, User Agent, etc.

For example, on a member page in an Extranet, I’d like to show admins the list of actions carried out by a particular member, including their IP address and user agent, etc. At the moment, I can only output a list of dates and times, but this doesn’t show the type of update it was, the entry ID of the entry in question, the entry title, or the browser agent.

I realise I can do this with the query module, but it’d be more nicer if these were available using these plugin too.

Thanks,

Stephen

Hey, Stephen!

I can put this on my to do list. It’ll take a bit of time to get to, but I’m happy to add some more variables in for those items.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for this. I’ve gone down the query module/SQL route for now to get the information that I need to output, but using the Audit Tags would be much nicer. I also like how you pull in additional member information with the tags, which is beyond my simple SQL knowledge to do via the query module! :-)

Thanks,

Stephen
