- jQuery for the Control Panel
I wrote this because certain sites have so many pages, some even with the same names, it's hard to keep track of where they are in Structure. Enabling the extension will add a search bar to the top-left area of the Structure tree view. This filters Structure entries as you type.
This is a simple extension which adds a search box to the Structure tree view, allowing users to filter pages.
Copy the dg_structure_search folder to system/expressionengine/third_party.
Enable the extension in the ExpressionEngine control panel. Add-Ons > Extensions.
A few settings are available for more control over how the filter behaves.
Searchbox Placeholder Text - set custom placeholder text in the searchbox
Focus Searchbox - set the searchbox to automatically focus on page load - start searching without having to click onto the searchbox
Show/Hide Parents - set whether parent items of matched entries are shown or not
Show/Hide Children - set whether childen items of matched entries are shown or not

If the add-on is an extension, and ties into ExpressionEngine's core files, it will use ExpressionEngine hooks. We are listing any hooks the add-on uses for developers to have an easier time locating other add-ons that they can reference for their own work.

For a 0.1 release this seems to work great for a large site I manage. Can’t wait to see what other features are coming up in future releases.
