This is an Expression Engine plugin that allows you to store variables in PHP's native session.

Sometimes you may want to temporarily store a variable for a short amount of time without writing a value to the database. ExpressionEngine’s sessions do not allow this, however PHP’s native sessions do.

This plugin allows you to use PHP’s native session to set, retrieve and delete variables in your templates.

This is an incredible add-on that has allowed us to do some pretty amazing things with EE. This was the perfect tool for a project we recently had and I have no idea how we’d have done without it. Well worth giving a try if you need session related variables on your site.

Probably the most critical plugin we use on our sites, Session Variables let’s us pass session data without relying on the url or embedded templates or straight PHP. This plugin plugs a huge hole and allows you to keep PHP turned off in your templates. Insanely good!
