Add-On Type(s)

Scrub intercepts incoming channel data and lets you run a number of filters to make sure it's how you want it.

With Scrub you can:

  • Clean/tidy submitted html markup
  • Restrict which html Elements are permitted in content
  • Restrict which Attributes are allowed on Elements
  • Strip empty paragraphs (common problem in a lot of wysiwygs)
  • Remove comments (goodbye Microsoft copy/paste garbage)

The add-on is currently in private beta and will be available soon. Contact @iain if you would like access to test.

Hooks Used

If the add-on is an extension, and ties into ExpressionEngine's core files, it will use ExpressionEngine hooks. We are listing any hooks the add-on uses for developers to have an easier time locating other add-ons that they can reference for their own work.
