Reggy (DISCONTINUED) was a simple, yet flexible events registration module. Create any type of event. Users easily register/unregister themselves to/from events.

What is was Reggy?

Reggy is was a simple, yet flexible events registration module for the ExpressionEngine CMS.

Reggy allowed you to create any type of event and provide an easy way for users to register and unregister by themselves.

Reggy allowed users who are logged into your website to register or unregister from events that are created by the Super Admin or other users you give access (through editing Member Groups).  Users not logged in will be able to view events and details about events, but will not be able to register.

Eulogy

by Ryan Masuga

The short-lived Reggy, which sold a whopping 2 copies, is no longer available. If you were one of those two souls who bought this add-on, we wish you luck with it, because the developer claims it is more than discontinued, it actually “no longer exists.” If you need the file, you will have to attempt to contact the dev, and good luck and godspeed with that mission.

We will never know what prompted the developer to email us out of the blue one day, commanding us to “Please remove, delete the addon ‘Reggy’ from your store.” with no clear explanation as to whether it was discontinued, or only to no longer be sold on our site. When politely pressed for an explanation, we were simply told:

Was this not clear? “Please remove, delete the addon “Reggy” from your store.” Delete it.  All of it. Every last morsel.

That is not what we do at devot:ee. We don’t erase history. We’re a site that deals in cataloging add-ons for ExpressionEngine, past, present, future. We will keep this entry here, like an everlasting flame, in the memory of an add-on that was cut short in the prime of its existence, and which tried hard to fill a niche, but ultimately failed.

Because we will never know the full potential of Reggy, may I humbly suggest you search this site for other add-ons that may fill your needs when It comes to event registration.

I can’t say you’ll be missed, but rest in peace, Reggy.

Oh how I wonder who the other licenseholder might be! We should really start a supportgroup of some sort to comfort each other.

Was this not clear? This 5 star addon was too excellent for the general public to handle, and caused the heads of the two people who purchased it to explode. I heard a rumor it will be re-released when it has been favorited 150 times.

Somewhere an event was just canceled due to a lack of registered attendees. RIP, Reggy.
