Change {site_name} to the one you actually specified in index.php with assign_to_config (without MSM)
This extension is useful when you have a copy of the main index.php in another directory to setup a subdomain or extra domain-name for your website, especially when you are not using the MSM add-on (multiple Site Manager). Without MSM, the assign_to_config[site_name] variable is ignored by EE, and instead it uses the site_name as specified under Admin > General Configuration.
If you have set assign_to_config[site_name] in the index.php, this extension will override and allow the use of your specified site_name, inside regular templates, and notification templates as used by MX_notify_control (where i needed this for).
Override_site_name allows you to actually use the {site_name} you have specified in index.php with assign_to_config[‘site_name’]=“My site name”
