Hooks Used
If the add-on is an extension, and ties into ExpressionEngine's core files, it will use ExpressionEngine hooks. We are listing any hooks the add-on uses for developers to have an easier time locating other add-ons that they can reference for their own work.

This is a great plugin! Very useful. However, I only give it 4 stars due to non-existent support and lacklustre documentation. User tip: If you want to send a notification of a new entry to the entry author, use {author_email} in the To field. I would pay $5+ for support or better docs.

Just used this to setup a basic notification when an entry has been added/updated. Worked on EE 2.7.2 site.

Did just what we needed with Zoo Visitor. This took 10 minutes to set up and create a custom template/notification. Thank you for a great extension… for free.

This plugin always used to work great, but it doesn’t seem to work anymore since EE2.6? I’ve been getting a PHP error complaining about thge plugin trying to reference “Addons_extensions::$channel_model”, which was deprecated in 2.3, and removed in 2.6. Is this correct?

Brilliant Add-on, really works great! I’ve made a tiny update to allow you to choose the member group when selecting member group changed options which makes it perfect for our needs

Great add-on. Thanks to Max for making it free. I’ve found that the {member_id} tag doesn’t work when activating members through the control panel. As such, I can’t find a way to personalise emails with custom member field data e.g. {first_name}. A bug maybe?

Does the job nicely, had great support from Max. I used it to automatically notify pending members that their accounts had been authorised by Admin. Uncheck the “Send email notification to each person” in Activate Pending page, or they will get two notifications. I hid this checkbox using CSS.

Very useful but document and support patchy. There is an undocumented conflict with Solspace’s Favourites module.
Sneed's Feed & Seed 07.06.12
TONS of features for a free add-on. Extremely easy to use, I was up-and-running in minutes. Plus it’s compatible with most of the major member management add-ons, which is icing on the cake. I was very impressed and will definitely use it again.

Love it. I like how you can send the email to a group. The ability to link to a template is also a big plus.

Amazing addon! I’ve used it on 2 sites now & it’s simply great. Best feature is sending emails to admin’s when adding a new member with their username/password… and html email pull straight from the templates! Awesome!
