Manage paths and URLs more easily with Hop Deeploy Helper! Hop Deeploy Helper is a simple module to make our lives as EE developers just a little easier. It collects many of the configuration parameters we most frequently modify and displays them on one page, where power users can modify them all at once. Are you an EE developer who wouldn’t mind a few extra minutes in your day? Maybe Hop Deeploy Helper can help!
All Hop Studios add-ons are now sold through the ExpressionEngine add-on store. Please go there for the latest versions.
Hop Deeploy Helper is compatible with EE 2.8+ to EE 5, and may be compatible with earlier versions, but has not been tested with those.
Please note: This is a very powerful tool. It works in our successs, and it’s worked for many other EE developers who have downloaded it. But because it directly updates system settings tables in your EE database, this tool has the potential to damage your installation. We encourage its use on well-backed-up systems.
But wait, there’s more! If you like Hop Deeploy Helper, you’ll also really like Publish Improve, an extension that makes many small but useful improvements to the way EE’s control panel works. Try it now!

This saved my bacon! Quickly find and fix all of the paths and see them all in a list! Very easy to use.

I use this plugin on every site. It makes it extremely easy to make path updates to all areas in the CP that have paths/urls.

I love this tool. I don’t deploy an EE install without it, it makes everything so much easier. I just need to go to one place and updated everything. I’ve used this for moving a site to a production server and for changing a sites domain name. Never had any problems with it.

Quite simply an essential part of every EE build

Makes life so much easier when moving from a local server to an active one, well worth the cost

If you’re setting up a basic template EE install and are deploying it to many different sites, this addon will save you HOURS. A must have.

For mutli-environment setups, Deeploy Helper is an indispensable tool for the toolbox - it saves a lot of time and trouble!

If you have yet to join the ranks of the “cool kids” who are all “bootstrapping” and have 2000 line config files with multi-environment configuration arrays with the git deploys and the whatnot, this module is an essential tool in moving your EE install.

We’ve really come to love Deeploy helper. It makes it so easy to update all of the necessary settings after migrating to a new environment.

What a huge time saver! I refuse to build a website in EE without Deeploy.

As I was using this today, I thought I should come back and show the developers some love since it has made my life easier…thanks! Nice job.

Someone told me about it years ago and I waved it off. It’s the best thing for moving server, or from local machine to DEV. No drama get all your URL and server paths in 1 shot. Saves me a headache each time.

Can’t Imagine life without this plugin these days, this saves so much time when moving environments.
tibitabo 10.15.12
Nice to finally have a one-page-overview of all the relevant EE-paths.
Highly recommended if you’re developing locally.

This plugin is a must, when moving a site from one server to another it is a lifesaver!

We had an EE site developed by an outside agency and needed to move it…Deeploy Helper made it SO painless to fix all those pesky hidden paths and server names buried in the old code. Seriously, a very small investment here saved us HOURS of bug fixing. A perfect plug-in for migration, bar none!
Andy Harris 10.27.11
5 stars isn’t enough. This is a great add-on - we just moved a 3 site MSM from test to live and this saved me plenty of hair.

Great tool for moving your website.
Before the quick replace, I would open in opera, do view source, copy the source to a texteditor, do a find and replace all, for file paths, and URLs, paste the source back into opera, hit the apply button, then hit submit.
Karl Bowers 06.06.11
Excellent stuff! Takes all the hassle out of the migration process. Thoroughly recommended! :-)
DCalabrese 03.29.11
Deserves 10 stars. . .what a convenience!
II it is possible to make this a little more pricey so as to make it more robust so users could manage add-on settings paths, it would be a big bonus.
rlwsota 03.25.11
As a newcomer to EE, I look for good tools to help the process. Deeploy Helper was a big help for me — easy to use, reliable results.
RealJustinLong 01.12.11
Couldn’t make moving servers simpler. 2 find and replaces and you are usually good to go.
JCDerrick 10.28.10
For less than $10 you can save yourself a whole lot of time using this add-on when changing servers or migrating from a test to live environment. Well worth the price.
Joelle 10.03.10
I only recently discovered this add-on and it saved my sanity when moving a site out of a development environment. Thank you, Travis!
Ryan Battles 09.23.10
A must-have tool when moving sites. The find/replace feature saves so much time.
Toby Sommer 10.11.09
Really nifty if you have to move your EE install (e.g. your development environment is not the same as your production env.)
CreateSean 09.26.09
Standard on all installs for me. I love this module and how it helps when migrating from local install to live server.
jayjay 06.23.09
I find this a very convenient add on that lets me just get stuff done. Thanks!!
Tim Kelty 05.01.09
Nicely done, but I prefer to handle most of what this module does right in my config.php. If I use PHP superglobals, I rarely have to change the paths even when moving environments. The module does group things you can’t set in config.php, like upload paths and forum paths, which is certainly nice.
