Low Seg2Cat loops through the segments of the current URI, matches them against categories, and registers the matching categories as global variables, which you can use in your templates.

This extension adds a {last_editor} tag to your weblog:entries loop, returning the screen name of whoever was last to edit an entry. Just enable it and then use {last_editor} in the same way you might already use {author} or {screen_name}.
