Captivate is an EE2 extension that replaces the built-in captcha with either the NuCaptcha or the ReCaptcha system. If multiple systems are activated, it will randomly choose between the systems. In order for it to work on your site, you will need a key from their respective developers.

Every entry in expression engine has a start date. It’s something you can rely on. By default it’s set to the time that the entry was created, but you can change it whenever you please. Entries can also have expiry dates, but by default this is left blank (after all most of the time we don’t want entries to expire).

Sometimes you don't care how many segments are in the url, you just care about two or three of them at the end. JB Reverse Segments allows you to easily access those by reversing the order in which you access them (counting from right to left).
