Great idea, though you need some control over where the “Edit” buttons are going to be.
If you’re using channel entries to say add in a background image with inline css it will break your site.
Also seems to add some strange styling to my pages, i.e blocks were 200px high, are now about 800px.

Tip: the css for the edit button as a minus margin which means that it does not show on many layouts. Adjust css within ext.edit_this.php :
.editor-button { position:relative; width:16px; z-index: 999!important; ...
.editor-button a { display:block; top:0; margin-left:0px; width:16px; ...

Simple to use. No tags involved, just enable the extension and it adds the edit icon to each of your entries.
One thing I would prefer however is to set it up so that we could use an {edit} tag which we could then place inline where we want. It could simply be text.

I do like this addon, and install it on client sites when requested, but it often causes layout issues which makes it difficult to use in some production environments.

Finally! A fork of Editor! Thanks for this. Very simple to use and get going. Jason Siffring must be an idiot not being able to figure out this extension, all you need to do is upload and enable and it works. Are you sure you’re a web dev? #n00b

This could be very useful, but lacks documentation on which tags to use to generate the links, so I never got it working.
