In Admin under Content > Edit > Channel it will add a "Create new entry" button. Also adds a "Duplicate" button to the top of the page when editing an entry.
In EE Admin when you click into Content > Edit > and then select a channel, it always bothered me that there is not a “Create new” button (sort of like there is in Joomla for example). So I added one. It will create a new entry in that channel. Its the same as going into Content > Publish and choosing a channel.
Also when you’re editing an entry it will add a “Duplicate” button next to the Delete button. I took some of the code for this from MX Cloner which didn’t seem to work for EE 2.9.0+.

UPDATE: This addon was missing a file when I originally posted. I’ve added that with install instructions. It should be good to go now! Enjoy.(Feel free to monitor github for updates or submit issues on github if you find them.)

Nice idea. Unfortunately it doesn’t work. I’ve installed the extension but I’m not seeing any new buttons.
The extension file refers to theme files (e.g. addpublishbutton.js) that aren’t actually included in the download. That’s probably the problem.

No documentation on how to install this extension. I am not sue where to put the two files. It some thing I can really use, but on clue on how to get it up and running.
