Extension, Fieldtype

Content Elements is a fieldtype for ExpressionEngine that will give your clients and editors a freedom to create content structure directly on the publish page.

Text field? Table? Block of code? Gallery? Let the editors decide.

Content Elements is a fieldtype for ExpressionEngine that will give your clients and editors a freedom to create content structure directly on the publish page. You will no longer need to create individual channels to accomodate different field groups. Instead, you will allow your clients and editors to choose what data fields and what order to use —all in one channel and using a single field type.

One fieldtype. Unlimited publishing options.

• let editors create fields & re-order them on the publish page
• put an end to channels with pre-defined fields
• speed up ExpressionEngine site development process
• EE2 fieldtype, MSM compatible

Quick overview.

Configure how much freedom to give —before using the fieldtype, you can choose how much freedom you really want to give your editors.

Let your editors choose content fields and order —editors can easily create any content element they wish to display on the page and drag it wherever they wish to show it.

All the data will be stored in raw format —all the data will be stored in raw format so you will have a total control how to display them on the front-end.

Publish the data on the front-end with ease —since it’s so easy to display the data, you might soon find yourself using this single fieldtype for most of your sites.

Wow - for clients who what a bazillion different ways to drop in content, this is something of a secret weapon. This might replace most fieldtypes for me…

Poor support, will try and charge you to fix bugs with the plugin.

No problem with support here. Fast and helpful. Marries with reverse related Playa entries perfectly (tables). A brilliant fieldtype IMO.

Using this on a couple of sites now. The new video and other additions are great. Regarding support - I emailed KREA yesterday and got a response in an hour with a fix to a server issue (which was our fault).
Most importantly - clients absolutely love using CE.

Excellent field type. Highly recommended.
We will be using this on many future developments. Great features and support of other third party field types.

As a web dev company this has really helped us to streamline and simply unique page templates. Flexible for the customer, great for dev also.

This is one of the most useful EE extension. I was looking for so long for something like this. You can be so flexible using it! Looking forward seeing P&T Matrix working with this :)

Wonderful fieldtype! There are a few things that could really help this out - like {switch=“one|two”} support. Overall, more than expected. Excellent work!

Very nicely done in so many ways.

This is an amazing add-on, does much more than I expected. Though I would really love to see the file manager built into the WYSIWYG editor. I also think integration with Matrix and Safecracker File would be a huge plus. But overall, a excellent add-on that’s a great value for the price.

Surprisingly excellent add-on that really does deliver what it says. The table fieldtype is, afaik, one of a kind that really saved us on a project recently. A great enhancement to the user/client experience.

There are a few rough edges to iron out, but I am very happy with this fieldtype. It is allowing me to (mostly) work around EE’s hate of code samples in entries. The organization abilities are very useful also.

I purchased this addon to allow me to easily add and manage content on my website (I am the end user).

It’s a fantastic add-on - easy to install and setup, have been able to add multiple elements to meet my requirements.

Great customer support and looking forward to further development to it.

Simply a brilliant addon! And it takes ee a good step further to a flexible, easy to edit system for clients.

This is brilliant, really gives editors freedom to make the page look how they want, and gives administrators flexibility. Looking forward to WYGWAM and Matrix compatibility.

This is a great idea for an add-on but I’d like to see integration with other field types such as WYGWAM, Assets, and Matrix.

It becomes pretty handy, when it’s about taking web content seriously. Dividing page content into elements, using most common content types, easy to add, remove or sort them. Yes, at least editors will love this clean approach.

Wow. Obviously haven’t seen it yet but this looks exciting. Nice one. I could see this being added to every install, though would be nice to see the pricing lower, I’m sure you’d get a much larger volume of sales as well.
