Auto Channel Form (ACF) creates Channel Forms automatically without having to write any form code. And you get to pick which fields are shown in the front-end.

Channel Forms are great! Your website users can fill in a form and the entry is created in the desired Channel. And Channels are what makes ExpressionEngine so powerful - you can do pretty much anything with your Channel Entries.

One major drawback is that you have to write the form code to place within the Channel Form tags. Which is fine, until you or your client adds a Channel Field, or takes one away, or decides they dont want to show it anymore in the front-end. Then you have to revise your form code, and test. Until now.

Channel Forms automatically creates the form based on the field preferences you set in the Admin. It knows if they are required, what type of fields they are, and shows label and instructions. It also works with inline errors, and every other Channel Form tag.

To show a Channel Form, you just need to:

1. Select what fields you want to show by editing the required channel in the ACF module
2. Add the following tag into your template:

{exp:channel:form channel=“your_channel”}{/exp:channel:form}

Its that simple!
