Add-On Type(s)

Fieldtype

Tags

This fieldtype allows you to create grouped blocks of data. It's great for addresses, biographical information, and anything else that needs to be a group of separate-but-associated fields. You can also style an invididual instance of the fieldtype on the Publish screen, for more versatility.

This is a lightweight addon to create grouped data fields, including text input, textarea, and simple dropdowns. It is NOT meant to be a replacement for things like Matrix; it’s much simpler and less featureful. It does, however, allow you to create custom styling for individual subfields, which can be used to create a really intuitive experience for users. (See the ‘Complex CSS in field’ image above for a great example of that.)

See the README  for more details.

Works great for consolidating text fields. The number of columns in my exp_channel_data table was starting to hurt performance (I use InnoDB) and this helped me cut it down considerably.

Great little add-on! Especially when you have a row of details like address etc. and don’t want to have X fields * X languages. Also, you avoid adding unnecessary rows in the DB. Well documented as well! Thanks, Adrienne.

This field is great for common groups of items such as the fields in an address. Used it on a few projects during the private preview and loved it.
